Duckie Brown Fall/Winter 2010 Collection
I'm sorry guys I haven't been posting as often...(sorry!) I've been busy with life! HAHA! Well above is the Duckie Brown Fall/Winter 2010 Menswear Collection. I like the colors, the attention to detail, and the plaid patterns. It's a pretty fresh collection, though it has some pieces that are similiar from the previous 2009 F/W Collection. Duckie always brings a hot, cohesive, and creative collection. I enjoyed the runway show alot!

LANVIN for H&M In Select Stores Nationwide November 20, 2010!!
Well I was just over at the H&M site and they have finally released the official look book/video previewing some of what's to come of the Lanvin for H&M collection! I noticed it's mainly focused at the female audience with some beautifully designed dresses, detailed jewelry, coats, heels, clutch purses and other accessories. The men have nice suit pieces, like dress shirts, slacks, coats, trench coats, ties, bow ties. We also have some jackets, pants, t-shirts, scarfs, caps!
I'd like to see a little more for the men so hopefully it will grow as time pushes on. It's said that the Lanvin for H&M collection will only be carried in 200 select H&M stores nationwide and online so I'm pretty siked!

Lanvin Spring Summer 2011 Menswear Collection [One Of My Favorite Designers]
Well above in the photo is just a preview of Lanvin's Spring Summer Menswear Collection for 2011! Like I mentioned in my previous post I'm a big fan of his work! Each collection always brings something interesting and I always seem to fall in love with each piece.
I love the shoes and accessories! I love the details with the patterns and colors used also with how the shoulders drape on some of the sweatshirts, the fitted to extra long slacks, the perfectly cut coats and extravagant high neck collars, and the chunky sandals and over-sized jewelry accessories! I just love,LOVE,LOVE IT ALL! I will truely have to invest in getting my hands on some of these pieces!

I was just talking to a friend and they informed me that Lanvin one of my favorite designers has teamed up with H&M and will be releasing a line of clothing in the store and online that will be more affordable and tangible to the everyday consumer. I almost fainted when I found this out I had called my local H&M to find out the details. It seems that like usual the womens collection will be released first and then the mens collection will arrive 3 weeks later. Will.i.Am & Nicki Minaj Speak Fashion...
Two of hip-hop's shining stars both known for their out-the-box music and their outrageous fashion escapades, Will.i.Am & Nicki Minaj spoke on what inspires Nicki's wild style. I know alot of people say she is copying Lady Gaga (I love GAGA btw) but I mean these people are artists that are celebrated in the public eye and have the right to express themselves not only in their music but in the way they dress. I don't really see why people would hate. It's like why don't you do you, and i'll do me just fine lol!
I know as an artist myself I'm always looking to be inspired by what I see and recreate my own style. I don't really like putting limits on how I can change my style from time to time. It's a great way to express yourself. So I could totally agree with what she said in this clip above. You just rock whatever gear makes you feel like your being you! I like when people are who they are and people who keep it real! You can't live your life worrying about what other people think. Just be confident in everything you do and in what you wear!

One of my Favorite Designers: Jeremy Scott for Adidas OriginalsbyOriginals
For those of you who don't really know who Jeremy Scott is here is a small introduction. Jeremy Scott is a Missouri born fashion designer who is well known for his line of Adidas winged shoes (YES, shoes with wings attached to them) I actually own a pair of the silver winged high top Adidas shoes.He started his own fashion design house at 21 years old in 1997 and attended The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY for fashion design. He is now 34 years old. With his creative and iconic designs resembling those of vintage pop-culture with a modern twist! Many artist from Lady Gaga, Kanye West, M.I.A., Ciara and well known Korean bands such as male group BIG BANG & female band 2NE1 have been seen rockin' Jeremy Scott's designs.
I love that he also is thinking about the customer and making the clothing and accessories affordable to the every day consumer and that the concept is drawn from his passion for pop culture and music, very cool indeed. It's also very interesting how unique each piece is that comes out with each collection. He definately has a very Avant-Garde style, and I'm just in AWE when I see his work.

Must-Haves For The Fall Winter Season: Sweaters, Bling & All Kinds Of Things!
Just a little "seasonal" advice from Prince Kaleo...Well since the cold weather and holiday season will be coming our way pretty soon we got to stay warmed up, so here goes some helpful tips for all the fellas out there getting their winter wardrobe together! I say pretty soon because I live in California and it's still close to 100 degrees out here right now so i'm still rockin' sneakers, light weight t-shirts, sunglasses, and shorts half the time.
The must -haves would have to be heavy duty sweaters, jackets, trench coats, ankle high boots, a nice fitted suit and YES FELLAS! Accessories are a main key to pull off that perfect fall look! Don't be scared to mix it up either. Add colors and learn how to layer correctly. You've ultimattely have to create your own look that fits you!
Cardigans and Plaids are also in this season. Don't be afraid to mix prints and patterns. Every fashionable guy at some point has to carry the infamous "MANBAG" very diffrent from a females purse. It adds a touch of effortless class and professionalism If done the right way. So guys be selective when choosing a bag I suggest a messenger bag ( slings over the shoulder resembling a briefcase ) or a medium duffle bag with a strap on it and can be worn the same way.
Also don't shy away from accessories chrome accents and leather embellished bling always adds to any outfit and makes you look fresh! Get ice'd out, but don't over do it!!

Oh and before I forget... If you are going to rock Fedora's they got to be felt not straw hats save that for spring and summer. Leather gloves are a positive must-have and beanies and faux fur ski caps and thick layered scarfs are a big DO! This holiday season, so be careful with how you mix it up but have fun with it!

John Galliano is definately one of my favorite designers and each runway show he does is incredible to me. The collections are always so exciting and different but not too far from what he is known for, Classic and extravgant works of art.

Y-3 Spring Menswear Collection 2011
I really like Y-3's collections and runway shows. There is something always very relaxed and organic about the fabric and the way it all flows on the runway. Alot might disagree with me but oh well it's my blog and it's all according to what Prince Kaleo likes LOL! It seems Y-3 has brought fourth a more darker, more gothic and edgy approach to the 2011 spring collection, the cropped Napoleonic type jackets and shirts, the dark to almost neon-metallic textures and colors mixed into this collection and hard accents and lines.It all just did it for me this go round, I just loved everything about this show! Loden Dager: Spring Menswear Collection 2011
To most of you Loden Dager is a name that doesn't ring many bells when you hear it right off the bat but I will say that Loden Dager is one of fashion best kept secrets. Loden Dager is a collaboration of 3 partner - designers Paul Marlow and Oliver Helden, and the more back-of-house man Alexander Galan. The label was also named as a finalist in the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund award. I think this just might be the season that will showcase what they are made of and that they are here to stay! The collection consist of a 60's inspired biker gang look, there were alot of bright smart use of colors, Italian selvage denim throughout, in moto vests and classic jean jackets, all detailed with zippers. The fit seems to be very comfortable and relaxed with a use of cotton. I want to know how I can get some pieces from this label myself! Hmm looks like It's time to search and shop!

Missoni's Spring 2011 Menswear CollectionI notice a trend that is really catching on quickly right now and it's alot of stripes, patterns, prints, and colors and I'm not complaining at all. I really like the cardigans, coats, and vest in the Missoni spring line. I see big hint coming back towards the khaki slacks for men this season and I really am not a fan of the khaki unless it's fitted or skinny style. I don't know why?! Hmm maybe because it reminds me of work? Haha!

My Every Season Accessory: Murakami x Louis Vuitton “Monogramouflage Keepall Duffle Bag"
I swear the first time this bag and I met something truely magical happened. It's hard to explain the joy I get each time I know I need to use it. Pulling it out of that beautiful brown Louis Vuitton bag, and slinging it accross my shoulder. Sigh.. PRICELESS!! The untimely and unexpected death of a fantastic fashion designer named Alexander McQueen came way too soon If you ask me. I think his designs were ahead of his time. He is more well known for his women's collections of extravagant gowns, and out of the box high heel shoes. As worn by the ever so famous singer, Lady Gaga. It's unfortunate to see him gone at such a young age. He truely left a legacy to other designers and fans of his work. He was not afraid to shine and be different amongst his peers.Both collections simply AMAZING!!!

Gareth Pugh's Fall / Winter 2010 Collection has this very Matrix type feel. I'm really enjoying each piece from this collection. Even though alot of people might get bored of the darkness of each piec. No one can deny that everything in this show flows perfectly together. Etro 2010 Fall / Winter Collection
I love Etro (yet I do not own any pieces by Etro myself =[ ), I've noticed a large difference in this years collection. It's gotten a little less cohesive and a little more on the dark side. I mean there are hints of color like mustard yellow, red (almost burgundy), and purple and other colors here and there but hmm i don't know. I know this video is showcasing Marc Jacobs 2010 Spring/Summer Collection but I'm a sucker for unique garnments with fun vibrant colors and details. I like how he manages to keep each piece different in its own way but all very cohesive with the next. Definately one of my favorite designers! It's sad that the spring/summer season has come to an end I always enjoy the bright colors when I dress up. Just because fall/winter is here now doesn't mean you have to stop mixing in hot colors into your wardrobe!!! Be inspired!!
